Open-space environment
Starting this summer we're introducing an open-plan design that will encourage open collaboration by clustering teams in "neighborhoods." Each neighborhood will have its own printer and other shared productivity tools and resources.
More space for collaboration
Now there are more opportunities than ever for a brainstorm with peers or a spontaneous meeting. In addition to conventional conference and meeting rooms, we're introducing 2-6 person huddle rooms that don't require a reservation, and touchdown spaces for visiting contractors and employees from other locations. Or meet with colleagues in one of the cafeterias, satellite cafes, or comfortable seating areas for anytime collaboration.
Exciting new technologies
We're introducing many new technologies to help you drive collaboration, improve productivity, and capture your best ideas. Connect like never before with soft phone technology, enhanced wireless capabilities, and other tools to enhance portability and multi-site, multi-device collaboration.
Flexible Work Arrangements (FWAs)
We recognize that some employees have personal and professional responsibilities and commitments that make it challenging to maintain standard work hours or commute to our locations. Flexible Work Arrangements are designed to accommodate those needs and encourage alternative ways of working.
FWA options include:
- Telecommuting: A work arrangement in which employees regularly work at home or at an approved alternative worksite up to three days per week.
- Flextime: A work schedule with variable starting and ending times, within limits set by their manager. Employees still work their standard number of hours per week.
- Part-time: A less than full-time schedule, but typically at least half the regular full-time schedule (20 hours), receiving a pro-rated salary and benefits.
- Job Share: Two part-time employees share the responsibilities of one full-time position, each receiving pro-rated salary and benefits.
